The rug pad’s felt thickness options provide varying levels of softness underfoot, along with flooring protection, sound absorption, insulation, and overall comfort for area rugs in any room. The latex rubber backing offers extra grip to prevent slipping, sliding, bunching, and wrinkles under area rugs during everyday use (area rug not included).

For optimal non-slip functionality, it is recommended to use larger area rugs over 5x8 with latex backing. For smaller area rug sizes under 5x8, like scatters and runners, rug tape or non-slip corner tabs can also be used to prevent slipping in high traffic areas. The rug pad is customizable to fit any area rug size or shape by simply trimming it with scissors, leaving a 2” gap for the 3/8” and 1/2" thick options, and a 1” to 2” gap for the 1/4" thick option around the perimeter.

For carpeted floors, place the rug pad under the rug with the felt side down. For hard surface flooring, place the rug pad under the rug with the non-slip latex rubber side facing down, ensuring maximum grip and protection.
